Watch out Snarters about!
Somewhere back in the 1980s my sister and I bought some black striped furry animal puppets on holiday in Majorca. What kind of animal they were supposed to be, no-one knows! They looked like they could be Snarters though and the name stuck. What a joyful summer these mischievous and playful characters had, getting up to all sorts of no good.
Some decades later, a family of wild Snarters was discovered living in urban woods in the north of England.
What they want most of all is ice cream, and by any means possible.
They live in underground burrows, with treetop lookouts.
Scavengres of the urban woods, these thieving Snarters will steal your goods.
Exuberant, playful, wild and free.
But only a diet of berries, fungus and grubs for tea.
